Full Job Description

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related discipline and a minimum of six (6) years of experience performing Quality Assurance work at an advanced level such as TQM (Total Quality Management) implementation, DOE (Design of Experiments), LEAN, Six Sigma, automatic quality regulating system through SPC (Statistical Processing Control). Experience is preferred in Infrastructure, Transit Vehicles Systems, Elevator and Escalators, or Communications. Must be proficient in writing concise, logical and grammatically correct reports and proficient with mathematical concepts such as probability, sampling distributions, descriptive and inferential statistics. Knowledge and utilization of Oracle- based inventory and maintenance systems are highly desired. In lieu of Bachelor’s degree requirement, directly related work experience utilizing six sigma methods may be substituted on a year-for-year basis. Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet applications required. Proficiency in an analytic or business intelligence software such as Tableau, Qlik, Microsoft Power BI, SAS, SAP, Alteryx, etc. preferred. 

Must be able to read and comprehend technical specification, architectural, electrical, mechanical, etc. drawings, prints, and schematics; understand the configuration of equipment/ assemblies; verifies conformance of components to specifications; understands proper wiring methods; computer skills; communicate with contractor. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from end users and management.
